Baptism of the Holy Spirit

So, I wrote before that I'd explain Baptism of the Holy Spirit. I will do this to the best of my ability in this entry.
Let me start by acknowledging the debate between Christians about how this works and whether or not speaking in tongues and miracles are for today. It exists. It's controversial. Read the Bible for the truth. See for yourself. There. It's acknowledged.
Best reference for this is in the book of Acts.
Every Christian has the Holy Spirit living inside them. When we talk about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, it's really about having more of the Holy Spirit. All a Christian has to do is ask for it. The evidence that one has it is speaking in tongues. Yes, any Christian can have the ability to speak in tongues. All you have to do is ask.
What happens when you are baptized in the Spirit? You will be taken to new heights in your walk with Christ. Jesus once said that his followers will do what he did: miracles like healing, raising people from the dead, and walking on water included. Want to experience the supernatural? Ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and keep asking until you receive. Revelations will also be given to you. Dreams, signs, wonders, visions, they all can happen. Even small eureka! moments. There were alot of times in my Christian walk where I didn't understand certain passages in the Bible. Then when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit I started understanding more scripture.
I know this sounds like an advertisement but it's true. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit changed my walk with Christ dramatically.
Want to find out more?
Read: Acts, 1 Cor. 12, 14 (really just reading 1 and 2 Cor. helps), Jude
There's also a book by Dave Roberson called "Walk in Spirit, Walk in Power". I highly reccomend.
I hope all that helps. That's really the basics. It's hard for me to describe sometimes. Anyway, if you have any questions just post in the comments. I'll see what I can do in getting answers.
