I know, I was supposed to post weeks ago. Oh, well. It's okay.
Anyway, I discover new things all the time. I like to learn and explore (I'm not huge adventurer or anything. I like new things, though). So, in 2010, I discovered new favorite things that make me smile. Here's a list.
-New Favorite Song: "Impossible" by Anberlin
I've been an Anberlin fan for a few years now. They're a great Christian Rock band. In 2010, they came out with a new album and "Impossible" was the first single off of it. It just blew me away and there are lines in the song that make me think of relationships I've been in. The beat is one of the best parts. I'm constantly changing my favorite song, but this one stuck for awhile and I still smile when it comes on the radio.
-New Favorite place for Sushi: Sima resturaunt in Dayton
I kind of discovered this place by accident, I think. My older sis and I were actually looking for another Japanese place off of Woodman or Airway. Somewhere are there. We stopped by Far East store. My sis loves Asian foods. So, she wanted to see the inside of Far East. We asked the lady at the check out if there was a place to eat sushi nearby because I could not remember where this other resturaunt was. It ended up Sima was just down the road. They are amazing! Their playboy is top notch and it's hard to go to other places now (not that I don't because that place isn't cheap). I even took my mom, sister, and grandma there the day after Thanksgiving. We had a blast.
-New Favorite author for YA books: John Green
I read many YA books. Last year I was notified of John Green's greatness by a co-worker and I've read all his stuff now. I can't wait for his next one!
-New Favorite Fairborn hangout: Expressions Coffee shop (they recently changed their name)
I haven't been in this place in weeks actually. But I don't hang out much in Fairborn because there's nothing to do really. The owners are cool and it's a nice place to go and hang out. I went several times last year and appreciate that there's a coffee shop in Fairborn (even though I don't drink coffee).
That's all I can think of for now. I want to start posting my poetry on here. I haven't written anything about my writing projects in awhile on here. So, look out for that.

If you like Sima you'll love Kai Sushi Cafe in Miamisburg. It's a small place but they have a great mix of types of sushi and the people there are great!
